(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today reminded local entities that his Office's Partnership for Competitive Purchasing is available to help ensure that local governments and other public entities are not victims of illegal pricing schemes for the goods and services they purchase.

Dawn Smith, 48, was convicted in Wood County, Ohio, of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a juvenile male in 2008.

According to Auglaize County Sheriff Al Solomon, whose office oversees the county's D.A.R.E. program, several students raised approximately $1,000 to donate to Dayton Children's Medical Center. 

Jackson, a habitual sex offender, was wanted on a January 2012 warrant for failing to verify his address. According to police, Jackson was convicted in 2001 of Gross Sexual Imposition with a 4-year-old victim.

According to authorities with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Jermaine Graham, 41, was arrested Wednesday morning on Van Buren Avenue by Cincinnati's Police Fugitive Unit. He'd been wanted on a warrant for Failure to Provide a Change of Address since January 2011.

BCI’s investigation began in July 2011, after the Warren Police Department requested help looking into activity at Warren massage parlors.   Working with Trumbull County Prosecutor Dennis Watkins, the BCI investigation has led to today’s search warrants, during which agents will interview witnesses and gather evidence.  The Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Prosecutor Watkins will evaluate whether a nuisance action should be filed in an effort to close these locations.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine joined Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason today to announce indictments involving alleged illegal activity at  internet cafés in the Cleveland area. 

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Jermaine Graham on January 6, 2011.  He is charged with Failure to Provide a Change of Address.

(CINCINNATI) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced a lawsuit against the owners and operators of The Beach Waterpark in Mason, Ohio. The lawsuit charges the waterpark with failure to deliver, a violation of Ohio’s Consumer Sales Practices Act.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine praised today’s ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Sierra Club v. Korleski, upholding Ohio’s Air Pollution Control Laws as they pertain to small businesses.
