Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced a lawsuit against the operator of Sludgefaktory, an online seller of post-apocalyptic gothic clothing, according to the business' website. The lawsuit accuses owner Chaunce A. Dawes of failing to deliver products to consumers.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Ohio SunTrust Customers to Receive $1.8 Million as Part of $550 Million National Foreclosure, Mortgage Servicing Settlement

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that Ohio is part of the $550 million multi-state settlement with SunTrust Mortgage, Inc. The settlement was agreed to by 49 states, the District of Columbia, The U.S. Department of Justice, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Attorney General DeWine and Ohio State Bar Foundation Announce Creation of New Ohio Sunshine Law Informational Videos Available to Officials and the Public

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Ohio State Bar Foundation (OSBF) today announced the release of eight videos aimed at helping elected officials, public employees, media representatives, and interested citizens better understand Ohio’s Sunshine Laws, which are Ohio’s Open Records and Open Meetings laws.  The Public Records Unit within the Ohio Attorney General’s Office developed the videos, which were funded by a grant from the OSBF.
