Ohio Part of $92 Million Multistate Settlement with JP Morgan Chase Over Anticompetitive Municipal Bond Derivatives Scheme

Attorney General DeWine Holds First Meeting of Violent Crime with Guns Advisory Group

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today held the first meeting of the Ohio Attorney General's Violent Crime with Guns Advisory Group. The advisory group was established to focus efforts on removing guns from repeat violent criminals and includes members representing local, state, and federal law enforcement, prosecutors, gun rights advocates, and victims advocates.

Attorney General DeWine Awards $3.5 Million in Drug Use Prevention Grants

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that 201 local law enforcement agencies across the state will receive $3.5 million in funding for drug use prevention programs through the Attorney General’s Drug Use Prevention Grant.

Attorney General DeWine and Ohio Department of Transportation Announce Settlement with Machinery Transport for I-74 Interchange Damage

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced that a settlement has been reached with Machinery Transport, Inc., of Henderson, Texas, for damage sustained to the Interstate 74/Interstate 275 interchange near Cincinnati. Pursuant to the settlement, Machinery Transport paid ODOT $726,757.27 for costs associated with the repair of the interchange.

Attorney General DeWine and 37 States Announce $40.75 Million Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Settlement

(Columbus, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, along with 37 other state attorneys general, announced today a $40.75 million settlement, pending court approval, with pharmaceutical companies GlaxoSmithKline, LLC (GSK) and SB Pharmco Puerto Rico, Inc. (SB Pharmco) to resolve concerns about their alleged substandard manufacturing processes.

Ohio Attorney General DeWine Announces Sentencing of Cincinnati-area Dentist in Medicaid Fraud Case

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that Dr. Jeffrey Glenn, of Cincinnati, has been sentenced to five years of community control and ordered to pay restitution of $225,000, after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated theft, a third-degree felony.
