Attorney General DeWine Announces 'Grandparent Scam' Suspect Charged In Florida

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that a cooperative investigation by the Ohio Attorney General's Office and the Broward County Sheriff's Office in Broward County, Florida, has resulted in Noel A. Colqhoun of Lauderhill, Florida, being charged with Grand Theft, a felony of the third degree, as a result of his alleged involvement in a "grandparent scam" that victimized an elderly Cuyahoga County woman.

Attorney General DeWine Announces $1 Million Settlement with Tobacco Maker

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said today that the state has reached an agreement with Grand River Enterprises Six Nations LTD in which Grand River deposited into a state escrow account $984,185; paid penalties and post-judgment interest of $1,052,000 to the state General Revenue Fund; and paid attorney fees and costs of $82,000 to his office.
