Foreign Interference in Ohio Elections Complaints

An Ohio elector may submit a request to initiate an investigation of an alleged foreign contribution to, or contribution in support of, a candidate for elective office in this state or in support or opposition to a statewide ballot issue or question. All other complaints regarding alleged violations of election law, election fraud, or other election related irregulates should be reported to the Ohio Secretary of State here.

Only electors as defined in Section 3503.01 - Ohio Revised Code | Ohio Laws of the Revised Code may initiate a complaint. Upon initial review, staff will ensure that the complainant is registered to vote in ohio. Complaints received from individuals who are not valid electors will not be investigated.

Physical Address Where You Are Registered to Vote:
Name of the “foreign national” who directly or indirectly made the contribution or independent expenditure prohibited by R.C. 3517.121.
Name of the candidate, statewide ballot issue, campaign committee, or other entity specified under R.C. 3517.121 who received the contribution, disbursement, or benefited from the expenditure.
