Attorney General DeWine Releases 2015 Economic Development Compliance Report

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today released his 2015 Report to the General Assembly on Compliance with State Awards for Economic Development. The report, which is required to be submitted by the Attorney General to the General Assembly pursuant to statute, analyzes compliance with the terms of economic development awards for recipients which had performance periods ending in calendar year 2014.

Attorney General DeWine Announces $10.6 Million in Ohio Student Loans to be Forgiven as Part of Multistate Settlement with For-Profit College Provider

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine along with 39 other attorneys general today announced that the company behind Brown Mackie College, The Art Institutes, South University, Argosy University, and Stautzenberger College Education Corporation has agreed to reform its recruiting and enrollment practices and forgive about $102.8 million in student loans nationwide, including over $10.6 million in Ohio.

Attorney General's Conference to Focus on Veterans Legal Advocacy

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Buckeye Council of the Vietnam Veterans of America will be co-sponsoring a December conference on veterans legal advocacy. Titled "Defending Veterans in the Criminal Justice System," the one-day conference will take place on Thursday, December 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m at the Columbus Police Academy Lecture Hall, 1000 North Hague Avenue in Columbus.
