Volunteer Coach Indicted by Steubenville Grand Jury Found Guilty, Will Serve Jail Time

Attorney General DeWine Certifies Petition for Freedom to Marry and Religious Freedom Amendment

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today determined that the proposed Freedom to Marry and Religious Freedom Amendment seeking to amend Article XV, Section 11 of the Ohio Constitution submitted the required 1000 valid signatures of Ohio electors and a summary of the amendment that is a "fair and truthful "statement of the proposed law.

Resolution Reached in Case Involving Steubenville Wrestling Coach

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that a resolution has been reached in the case of Seth Fluharty, the Steubenville High School wrestling coach who was indicted in November by the special grand jury for failing to report child abuse or neglect.

Thirty-Nine Indicted Following Marion Drug Investigation

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio Steven M. Dettelbach, Federal Bureau of Investigation Cleveland Division Special Agent in Charge Stephen D. Anthony, Marion Police Chief Bill Collins,  Marion County Sheriff Tim Bailey, and Marion County Prosecutor Brent Yager announced today that more than three dozen people are now facing charges as a result of a large-scale investigation focusing on the trafficking and possession of drugs in Marion, Ohio.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced a lawsuit against Heath Motor Sports, LLC and owner Paul Dague. The Attorney General’s lawsuit accuses the owner and dealership of engaging in unfair and deceptive business practices by failing to provide consumers with motor vehicle titles, as required by Ohio law.
