Attorney General Yost Visits Ross County, Discusses Triple Homicide, Crime Scene Assistance

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost visited Ross County Sheriff George W. Lavender Jr. to discuss two attacks just outside Chillicothe this week that left three people dead and a fourth critically injured. Crime scene investigators from the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) were on-scene to assist Lavender’s office with the case within hours of the victims being found on Monday.

Attorney General Dave Yost announced today that he and 45 other Attorneys General reached a $120 million settlement with Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson owned companies Medical Device Business Services, Inc. (formerly DePuy, Inc.), DePuy Products, Inc., DePuy Synthes Inc. and DePuy Synthes Sales, Inc. to resolve allegations that DePuy unlawfully promoted their metal-on-metal hip implant devices, the ASR XL and the Pinnacle Ultamet.
