Ohio Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assaulting Children at In-Home Daycare

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Gallia County Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announced today that a Gallia County man has pleaded guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted seven children at an in-home daycare operated by his wife.

Attorney General DeWine Warns Online Puppy Scams Reported in Ohio

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today warned consumers to beware of online puppy scams, where sellers take money for puppies they never deliver. Con artists post pictures online advertising desirable breeds and then never provide the puppy. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office has received about 40 puppy scam complaints in 2017, with an average reported loss of about $600.

Dayton Man, Company Ordered to Pay $1.4 Million

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that a Dayton-area certified alcohol and drug outpatient treatment provider and its owner have been ordered to pay more than $1.4 million after an investigation by the Ohio Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit found that the provider billed for services that were never actually provided.
