DeWine, 52 Attorneys General Urge Congress to Pass Law Aimed at Curbing Online ‘Virtual Brothels’

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today joined Attorneys General from 48 States, 3 Territories, and the District of Columbia in urging Congress to pass the Stop Advertising Victims of Exploitation Act, also known as the SAVE Act. The request was made in a letter sent to the leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

SAK Testing Inititive Leads to Indictment of Suspected Serial Rapist in Connection to Five 1990s Rapes

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that a Cleveland man scheduled to be released from prison this week will now remain in custody after DNA testing conducted as part of Attorney General DeWine's Sexual Assault Kit (SAK) Testing Initiative linked him to the rapes of four adults and one teenager in the 1990s.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Multi-Million Dollar Settlement with Owner of Multiple Ohio Skilled Nursing Facilities

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that Ohio has joined with seven states and the federal government in a $28 million settlement agreement with a Delaware-based skilled nursing corporation after an investigation led in part by the Ohio Attorney General's Office revealed that the company billed Medicaid and Medicare for materially substandard nursing services that were so deficient that they were effectively worthless.
