Yost Sues Warner Bros. Discovery for Securities Violations That Led to Big Losses for Two State Pension Funds

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has filed a motion asking to be appointed lead plaintiff in a securities class-action lawsuit claiming that Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) deliberately misled investors during the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery Inc., fueling $25.5 million in losses for the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System and the State Teachers Retirement System.

Yost, Other Attorneys General Secure $13.67 Million in Settlements Against Experian Over Data Breaches, T-Mobile To Pay $2.43 Million in Related Case

Ohio and 39 other states have reached two settlements with the credit-reporting agency Experian over data breaches in 2012 and 2015 that compromised the personal information of millions of consumers nationwide, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced today.
