Eight Indicted in Connection with Multi-County Drug Trafficking Organization

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, Ashland County Prosecutor Christopher Tunnell, Ashland County Sheriff E. Wayne Risner, the Medina County Drug Task Force, and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) announced today that eight individuals have been indicted in connection with a drug trafficking organization operating in Ashland, Medina, and Wayne counties.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey this week led an effort in opposing the federal government’s proposed Stream Protection Rule. DeWine and Morrisey co-authored a comment letter to the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement during the rule’s comment period.

Two Face Drug Charges Following Seizure of More than $300,000 in Heroin

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, Allen County Sheriff Samuel Crish, Lima Police Chief Kevin Martin, and Allen County Prosecutor Juergen Waldick announced today that two Allen County residents are facing multiple charges following what local investigators call one of the largest heroin seizures in Allen County history.

Attorney General DeWine Files Challenge to Clean Power Plan

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, along with attorneys general and regulators from 23 other states, today filed a legal challenge to the sweeping “Power Plan” rule imposed by the Obama Administration. The rule, announced earlier in 2015 but finally published in the Federal Register this morning, was promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
