Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine Testimony on Violent Career Criminal Act

On October 22, 2013, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine offered proponent testimony in the Ohio Senate Criminal Justice Committee on Senate Bill 121, the Violent Career Criminal Act. Sponsored by State Senator Jim Hughes (R-Columbus), the Violent Career Criminal Act is aimed at decreasing violent gun crimes by proposing longer prison sentences for certain repeat offenders convicted of a crime involving a firearm.
