(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has made three appointments to the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel Advisory Board. The Ohio Consumers’ Counsel Advisory Board is a bipartisan board made up of nine members; three each representing residential consumers, organized labor and family farmers.
Jason D. Clark of Dayton has been appointed to represent organized labor. Mr. Clark currently serves as Business Representative for the members of Millwright Local 1090, where is also an Elected Board Member. He recently served on the executive boards of the Cincinnati AFL-CIO and Dayton AFL-CIO. Prior to his employment with Millwright Local 990, Mr. Clark served as a Capacity Assurance Coordinating Engineer for Delphi Brake and Chassis in Dayton.
Susheela D. Suguness of Dublin has been appointed to represent residential consumers. She is the Owner of Prime Engineering and Architecture, Inc. Ms. Suguness is a past president of the Asian Indian American Business Group and a past board member of the City of Columbus’ Transportation Services Advisory Commission. Ms. Suguness is a registered Professional Engineer and received her B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India and her M.S. from the University of Florida.
Stuart Young of Springfield has been appointed to represent family farmers. He is the General Farm Manager at Young’s Jersey Dairy, Inc. in Yellow Springs, where has served on the Board of Directors since 1986. Mr. Young served as President of the Clark County Farm Bureau from 1999 to 2001. He has been a volunteer firefighter for the Hustead Fire Department for 31 years.
Upon confirmation by the Ohio Senate, Mr. Clark, Ms. Suguness, and Mr. Young would serve terms that expire on September 1, 2015.
