AG Yost Recognizes Achievements of Ohio Law Enforcement Officers

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost recognized the 2019 Law Enforcement Conference award winners today during a luncheon ceremony in Columbus.

“All the good things that make a society healthy and prosperous rest on the foundation of public safety and the men and women who protect the unprotected,” Yost said. “I’m proud to honor these award winners who truly represent the ‘best of the best’ and have exhibited diligence, dedication and sacrifice in the name of public safety.”

Those recognized today include:

Distinguished Law Enforcement Lifetime Achievement Award
Chief Kimberley K. Jacobs (retired), Columbus Division of Police

Distinguished Civilian Leadership Award
Yvonne Pointer, Activist and Philanthropist, Cleveland
 
Distinguished Law Enforcement Community Service Award
Officer Roy W. Tittle, Alliance Police Department
 
Distinguished Law Enforcement Training Award
Gregory A. Perry, Marion Technical College
 
Mark Losey Distinguished Law Enforcement Service Award
Officer Kenneth Lawson, Columbus Division of Police
