Traffic Safety Grants Awarded to Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost today announced that the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) has received two grants totaling $280,000 to provide training for law enforcement officers on topics including identifying impaired drivers and investigating traffic collisions.

Columbiana County Grand Jury Indicts Man for 2012 Cold Case Homicide

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost partnered with the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office to solve a 2012 cold case homicide. A Columbiana County grand jury indicted Kevin Kirby, 44, last week for his role in the murder of Melinda Todd and the attempted murder of her 5-year-old grandson, Cole Reed.
