Attorney General DeWine Asks for Help in Finding Suspected Killer Wanted for Murdering Mahoning County Victim This Morning

(CANFIELD, Ohio)—Attorney General Mike DeWine and Canfield Police Chief Charles Colucci are asking for help in finding suspected killer Robert P. McLaughlin, who is wanted for aggravated murder in the shooting death of 40-year-old Stacey L. Sutera in Canfield (Mahoning County) this morning.

Agents from the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are assisting the Canfield Police Department with the case, which also involves the Mahoning County Homicide Task Force.

McLaughlin, from Painesville, is a 64-year-old white male, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. McLaughlin's photograph may be Viewed or downloaded below.

Investigators say McLaughlin is driving a rented gray Chrysler Town & Country van with Ohio license plate #EZE 9055.

If you see Robert McLaughlin or his vehicle, do not approach. He is considered armed and dangerous.
