(CHILLICOTHE, Ohio) -- A Chillicothe man has been sentenced to eight years in prison following an investigation by Attorney General DeWine's Crimes Against Children Unit.
A Ross County Common Pleas Judge sentenced William Noble, 48, this week on five charges of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor and three counts of Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity Oriented Material or Performance.
The case was prosecuted by attorneys with the Ross County Prosecutor's Office.
"Our Crimes Against Children Unit found that he was downloading, viewing, and sharing child pornography, which means he victimized those children each and every time he looked at the images," said Attorney General DeWine. "We are grateful for the hard work of the Ross County Prosecutor's Office to send this man to prison."
The judge also designated Noble as a Tier II Sex Offender which will require him to register his address every 180 days for 25 years following his release from prison.
Agents arrested Noble in February after serving a search warrant on his North Pohlman Road home in Chillicothe. Chillicothe Police assisted in the investigation.
