Internship information

Each summer, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office offers a college internship program. As a college intern, you are assigned to a section of the office where assist with a variety of tasks. The office has developed a mentoring program for college interns and provides them with the opportunity to work with their peers on a group project.
For interns, the Antitrust Section offers the opportunity to gain exposure to the wide-ranging work of complex litigation, multistate coordination, investigation, and regulatory enforcement. Students who have completed at least one semester in law school are encouraged to work for a summer with Ohio’s largest legal organization, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, as a law clerk. These positions provide an opportunity for those looking to practice law in the public sector or simply wanting to gain real-world experience in the legal profession.
The Antitrust Section actively seeks law clerks each year. The section engages clerks in various aspects of its work, including complex litigation, multistate coordination, investigation, and regulatory enforcement. Depending on the section’s cases, clerks get to work with seasoned attorneys on motions and pleadings, legal research, hearings, regulatory compliance, document review, and/or interview prep for investigations.
Law clerk interviews typically take place during the fall academic term at law schools across the state and some regional law schools. Check the Office’s Internship Opportunities page for more details.
