A call for nominations: Law Enforcement Awards recognize achievements of Ohio’s peace officers

2025 LETS

The office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is seeking nominations for the 2025 Law Enforcement Awards, which honor the exemplary work of peace officers throughout Ohio.

The awards ceremony is an upbeat and inspiring component of the annual Law Enforcement Training Symposium (LETS), scheduled this year for Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Sandusky. LETS is presented by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, part of Yost’s office.

Nominations are being sought for eight award categories:

  • Victoria Allen Civilian Leadership
  • Training
  • Community Service
  • Blue Line
  • Group Achievement
  • Lifetime Achievement
  • Exemplary Response
  • Valor

This year’s award winners will be recognized during a banquet on Tuesday Sept. 30.

The awards criteria and nomination instructions are available for downloading here. Please submit nomination forms, supporting documentation, and a JPG photo of the nominee(s) by May 9, 2025, to the Ohio Law Enforcement Awards Committee at LEAward@OhioAGO.gov.
