On February 19, 1994, 37yr old Gloria Jean White was found brutally murdered in a wooded area of East Pleasant Street between South Belmont Avenue and Abbey Street. Her homicide remains unsolved. Ms. White was last seen February 2, 1994 at Howard’s Foods on South Limestone Street in Springfield. Ms. White was wearing black and brown pants, a black sweater and brown ankle high leather shoes. Ms. White had an infectious smile and a kind personality. She left behind her grieving family, including two children who need closure to this crime.
