On March 2, 2022, at approximately 9:18am, officers were dispatched to the 1900 Block of Jermain Drive on the report of a deceased male in a residence. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 21yr old Melquan Scott, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Department, EMS 13, arrived at scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 9:26pm.
