On October 24, 2016, at approximately 4:40 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 45 S. Terrace Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as 28yr old Shawn McDaniel, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and unresponsive. CFD Medic 17 responded and pronounced Mr. McDaniel deceased at 4:48 a.m.
