On August 27, 2017 at approximately 4:43 p.m. officers were dispatched to Mt. Carmel West Hospital on a walk-in shooting victim. The victim, 19yr old Joshua Lucas was shot one time in the upper body. He was driven to Mt. Carmel West Hospital and treated for his serious injury. The Assault Squad initially investigated this incident. Mr. Lucas succumbed to his injuries on October 8th.
