On Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 11:01PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 1000 block of E Hudson St. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found an SUV that had struck a utility pole at that location. The driver of the SUV, 46-year-old William Hinson, was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic EMS 13 responded and pronounced Hinson deceased at 11:07PM.
