On Friday, May 9, 2008 at approximately 12:36 am, Springfield Fire Division responded to a structure fire at 1805 Sweetbriar Lane South. After having put out the fire and conducting a secondary sweep of the premises, the body of 25yr old Alia Hartman was found. The fire had been intentionally set and this case was ruled a homicide. Any assistance from the public would be appreciated. There is a private funded reward for the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
