On August 1, 2021, at 10:13pm, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to 477 S. Hampton Rd. on a drive-by shooting. Upon arrival, they located the victim, 43yr old Martin Hall, suffering from an apparent gunshot injury. Mr. Hall was transported in critical condition to Grant Medical Center by CFD Medic #21. Despite receiving life-saving medical treatment, Mr. Hall succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 10:43pm. Initial investigation indicates that this incident might have stemmed from an argument that occurred earlier in the day.
