On November 17, 2008 at approximately 9:00 PM Michael P. Gravely Jr. answered a knock at the front door of his home on Parkwood Ave. in Columbus. He exited his residence and while standing on the front porch, he was shot by an unknown assailant. Michael later died from his wound at Grant Hospital.
