On Saturday, December 24, 2016, at approximately 6:52 a.m., Columbus Police Officers and medics were dispatched to the area of Brinwood Place and Noe Bixby Road on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found the victim, 45yr old James Edward-Wade laying in the yard, at 5036 Brinwood Place, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was subsequently transported to Grant Hospital E.R., by C.F.D. Medic #23, where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 7:42 a.m.
