On April 22, 2022, at approximately 12:16am, officers were dispatched to the 1700 Block of Rainbow Park on the report of shots fired. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 22yr old Efrem Blackwell Jr., suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Medic 14 arrived at scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 12:39am.
