Nineteen year old Ricky Beard and his girlfriend, Mary Leonard were reported missing on 08/24/79 after they were out on a date. The vehicle they were in was found in the 600 block of West Portage Trail on 08/25/79 with bullet holes. On 05/29/85 in the 2800 block of Riverview Road, the remains of Ricky & Mary were found in a field by a construction worker.
