Forty seven year old JoAnn Bartholomew was reported missing after not returning home from church on 10/21/87. Her vehicle was located abandoned on 10/22/87 at Chapel Hill Mall (2000 Brittain Rd.) The body of the JoAnn Bartholomew was recovered in the woods near 1990 Buchholzer Blvd. on 10/24/87. The victim died of multiple stab wounds.
