Victor V. Vigluicci

Prosecutor Vigluicci was born in Ravenna, Ohio April 16, 1952. He is a lifelong resident of Portage County. He graduated from Walsh College, Summa Cum Laude on a full Academic Scholarship in 1974. He graduated from the University of Akron Law School also on a full Academic Scholarship in 1977. He was admitted to the Practice of Law, November of 1977 and then into private law practice in Ravenna, Ohio from 1977 – 1994. Mr. Vigluicci was the Acting Judge and Referee for Portage County Municipal Court from 1980-1994. He has been the Portage County Prosecutor since 1994.
Prosecutor Vigluicci is a member of: National District Attorneys Association, Board of Directors, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association where he served as President in 2007. He is a member by Supreme Court appointment to the Supreme Court of Ohio Subcommittee on Child Abuse. Prosecutor Vigluicci also serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Portage County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Mr. Vigluicci married his wife Denise in 1979 and has two grown children.
