Rebecca focuses on consumer protection matters in northeast Ohio. She primarily litigates pursuant to the Attorney General authority found in the Consumer Sales Practices Act and the Home Solicitation Sales Act. Rebecca typically seeks to recover restitution for consumers, injunctions to prevent continuing violations of consumer protection laws, and civil penalties. In addition to handling lawsuits in various courts statewide, Rebecca has worked with the Federal Trade Commission on a computer tech support case in the Northern District of Ohio. Rebecca has spent most of her career in the public sector. Before joining the Ohio Attorney General’s office in 2014, Rebecca was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and Head of the Civil Division in Geauga County, Ohio for more than 15 years. Her first years as an attorney were spent in general practice with a mid-size law firm in Cleveland.
