Seventeen Indicted on Heroin and Cocaine Trafficking Charges in Pickaway County

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today joined Acting Circleville Police Chief Shawn Baer, Pickaway County Sheriff Robert Radcliff, Pickaway County Prosecutor Judy Wolford, and Circleville Mayor Don McIlroy to announce the indictments of 17 individuals on drug trafficking charges.

Storm-Chasing Roofer Sentenced to Prison

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Union County Prosecuting Attorney David Phillips today announced that a storm-chasing home repair contractor will serve prison time for stealing more than $150,000 from 40 victims throughout central and southwest Ohio.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Concealed Carry Reciprocity with Five Additional States

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that Ohioans with concealed carry permits will be able to use those permits in five additional states. Pursuant to changes adopted in House Bill 234 of the 130th General Assembly, Ohio now has concealed carry permit reciprocity with Colorado, Georgia, New Hampshire, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters Announce Indictment in First Hamilton County State Court Human Trafficking Case

Today, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters  announced  the indictment of Pleasant Plain, Ohio resident April Corcoran (DOB 4-4-84) on 27 felony counts in the attached indictment.  If convicted of all charges, she faces the possibility of life in prison.

DeWine, Hughes, O’Brien Urge Support for Violent Career Criminal Act

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, State Senator Jim Hughes (R-Columbus), and Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien are urging support for the Violent Career Criminal Act, which was introduced this General Assembly as Senate Bill 97. Sponsored by Senators Hughes and Frank LaRose (R-Copley), the legislation would add additional prison time for repeat violent offenders, the group which a study concluded committed the majority of violent crimes in Ohio.
