Father, Son Charged with Operating Heroin and Cocaine Trafficking Ring in Pickaway County

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, Pickaway County Sheriff Robert Radcliff, Circleville Police Chief Shawn Baer, and Pickaway County Prosecutor Judy Wolford announced today that 11 individuals, including a father and son, are now facing charges for their alleged participation in a heroin and cocaine trafficking ring that operated in Pickaway County with ties to Columbus.

Attorney General DeWine Announces $100 Million Multistate Settlement with Barclays over Libor Manipulation

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, along with 43 other attorneys general, today announced a $100 million settlement with Barclays Bank PLC and Barclays Capital Inc. for fraudulent and anticompetitive conduct involving the manipulation of the London interbank offered rate, or Libor, a benchmark interest rate that has a widespread impact on global markets and consumers.

Attorney General DeWine Awards Grant to Ohio Military Legal Assistance Project

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that his office has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Ohio Military Veterans Legal Assistance Project (OMVLAP).  The grant funds are being awarded in part from funds seized from the former veterans’ charity scam artist known as Bobby Thompson.

Attorney General DeWine Secures Recovery for Consumers and the State in $125 Million Multistate Provigil Settlement

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, along with 48 other attorneys general, today announced a $125 million settlement with Cephalon and affiliated companies over allegations that Cephalon engaged in anticompetitive conduct that delayed the market entry of generic versions of Provigil, a prescription drug used to promote wakefulness and treat sleep disorders.
