(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine issued the following statement regarding the order issued by Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey M. Brown today in the lawsuit against Precourt Sports Ventures and Major League Soccer to #SaveTheCrew:
"This is a reasonable and welcome decision by the Court to pause the time period required before any attempt to move Columbus Crew SC, and for the Court to monitor any bona fide offers to keep the Crew in Columbus. This ruling is a win for Crew fans and for soccer fans around the country who agree that Major League Soccer's original franchise should remain in Columbus."
