(AKRON, Ohio) -- Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is requesting the public's help in locating a sex offender who is no longer compliant with Ohio's registration laws.
Deputies with the Summit County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for the arrest of Rashawn Britton on March 13, 2013. He is wanted on a charge of failure to provide a change of address.
According to public records, the suspect was convicted in Minnesota for an attack on a juvenile female.
Britton, a sexual predator, last registered his address on 31st Street in Akron.
He has several tattoos, including "Gaffney," "Maddie," and "RIP Rob."
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Rashawn Britton should contact the Summit County Sheriff's Office or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at 855-BCI-OHIO (855-224-6446).

This news release is part of Attorney General Mike DeWine's Crimes Against Children Initiative. As part of the Crimes Against Children Initiative, Attorney General DeWine will publicize convicted sex offenders who have victimized children and are wanted on outstanding warrants. Other parts of the initiative include the establishment of a Crimes Against Children Unit at BCI, creation of a rapid response team for crimes against children, and specialized law enforcement training through BCI and the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA).
