Details

Eighteen year old Judy A. Stevenson was a recent local high school graduate of Benjamin Logan High School. She was reported missing by her parents on March 6, 1975. She was last seen in the city of Bellefontaine where she was with a friend while attempting to seek employment. Forty-eight days later, her body was located in rural Logan County. Judy's body was partially clothed and attempted to be concealed in a wooded area just South of Pickrelltown (Monroe Township). Judy had a shoestring tied around her neck. Investigators at the time suspected sexual assault, but no evidence could be recovered to support this. Judy's vehicle was later located in Bellefontaine and was processed by BCI. The Logan County Sheriff's Office and Ohio BCI are still actively working the cold case.
