On Thursday, June 5, 2014, at approximately 11:42 p.m., patrol officers were flagged down by a citizen who advised there was a male lying in an alley near Bryden Road and South 18th Street. Patrol officers located the victim, 51yr old Joel McClean, in the rear of 873 Bryden Road. Mr. McClean sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body.
