On Saturday March 22, 2014, @ 7:34 a.m. officer working cruiser 50 was flagged down by a subject who reported that a body was laying on the sidewalk in front of 1459 E. 23rd Avenue. The officers determined that the victim had been shot and requested a medic respond to the scene.
