On April 25, 2022, at approximately 3:08am, officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Whitethorne Ave on the report of shots fired. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 25yr old Darwin Garcia, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Medic 17 arrived at scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 3:25am.
