On Saturday, December 13, 2014, at approximately 1:23 a.m., on duty Columbus Police Officers, along with special duty officers, were working in the area of the Schrock Tavern, located at 1455 Schrock Road, when they heard a gunshot near the rear of the business. The officers then observed the victim, 23yrs old Tyquan Collins, run across the rear parking lot and collapse on the pavement. Mr. Collins sustained a gunshot to the upper body.
