On Saturday, October 8, 2016, at approximately 12:07 p.m., C.P.D. Officers were dispatched to 5746 Saranac Drive on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found the victim, 43yr old Shawn Chambliss suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Grant Hospital E.R., by Medic #162, in "critical condition", where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 12:41 p.m.
