On Thursday, August 29, 2013, at approximately 1:39 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to 2000 East Main Street on the report of a shooting. The responding patrol officers located the victim, Mr. Willie L. Casey, on the sidewalk in front of this location. Mr. Casey had sustained gunshots to the upper body and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
