On Friday, June 21, 2013, at approximately 11:25 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting in the area of 607 Lance Court. The responding officers located the victim in front of 631 Lance Court. The victim, 19yr old Demetrous Beard had sustained gunshots to the upper body.
