On August 5,1980 at approximately 3:25 PM the body of Dale P Barbee was discovered in a wooded area off of Maple St. and Craig St. in Urbancrest, Ohio. Dale had been strangled and shot. He was last seen alive on August 4, 1980 when he left his home to meet a business client. Robbery may have been a motive, however, the events leading up to his death are sketchy, and therefore, investigators are attempting to locate anyone who may have information regarding his murder.
