On February 26, 2022, at approximately 11:14am, officers were dispatched to the 1900 Block of Oakland Park Ave on the report of a deceased male in the back yard. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 34yr old Floyd Bacon, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Department, Engine 16, arrived at scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 11:20am.
