Anna graduated magna cum laude from the Ohio State University where she majored in International Relations and Diplomacy. She earned her law degree from Capital University Law School. While in law school, Anna also obtained a certificate in dispute resolution that required completion of extensive coursework in the areas of mediation, arbitration, and negotiation. She also interned for the Ohio Civil Rights Commission where she built a passion for civil rights and employment law.
Anna started her legal career at the Behal Law Group where she gained experience in the areas of personal injury and contractual litigation. Fascinated by the issues of discrimination, however, Anna transitioned to the Ohio Civil Rights Commission where she served as an investigator for three years. Anna joined the Workers’ Compensation Section in July, 2018.
Originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Anna is fluent in Russian language.

Jacquelyn joined the Workers’ Compensation Section in 2016.  Jacquelyn earned her law degree from the University of  Dayton School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the University of Dayton Law Review, and competed in the Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C. as a member and coach of the moot court team.  She was also a Dean’s Fellow, a teaching assistant for the Appellate Practice and Procedure class, and a research assistant helping to revise the Ohio Real Property Law and Practice treatise authored by Robert M. Curry and James G. Durham. 
Prior to joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Jacquelyn gained experience working in both the private and public sectors.  She began her legal career at Rion, Rion & Rion, LPA, Inc., as a civil paralegal focusing mainly on personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases.  While in law school, Jacquelyn served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas M. Rose in the United States District Court in the Southern District of Ohio, and worked as a licensed legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuting misdemeanor offenses in federal court.  Jacquelyn is originally from Illinois, but lived in Dayton, Ohio for 9 years before moving to Columbus.

John joined the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Attorney General’s Office in 1999, after working for two years as an in-house attorney with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (“BWC”).  In his 15 years of workers’ compensation practice, interrupted only by a brief period of public utilities law and a military mobilization, John has represented the BWC, claimants and employers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio, and the BWC in employer and provider hearings.  He currently defends the BWC in workers’ compensation cases in the common pleas courts of Ohio; and defends the BWC and Industrial Commission against mandamus actions, up to, and including the Ohio Supreme Court. John has given presentations at several workers’ compensation conferences and continuing legal education seminars.

Lisa joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2000 and worked in the Workers’ Compensation Section for three years before working in the private sector.  While working in the private sector for ten years, Lisa continued to specialize in workers’ compensation and represented both injured workers and employers at the administrative and court level. 
Lisa returned to the Attorney General’s Office in 2013 and continues to represent the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and the Industrial Commission of Ohio.  She has extensive litigation experience, as well as experience at the appellate level, where she has written appellate briefs and argued before the Tenth District Court of Appeals of Ohio.  Lisa graduated Cum Laude from Capital University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting.  She earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1998.

Natalie joined the Workers’ Compensation Section in March of 2014.  She is an experienced trial attorney who represents the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation in litigation before the courts of Ohio, including trial courts in several counties, multiple districts of the Court of Appeals, and the Ohio Supreme Court.  Natalie has written many appellate and mandamus briefs. She has also presented oral arguments to the appellate courts on many occasions.
Natalie has spent her thirty year legal career primarily focused in the area of workers’ compensation. Before joining the Attorney General’s Office, Natalie worked in private practice spending years representing claimants and employers.  She also served as Special Counsel for the Attorney General’s Office representing numerous state agency employers. She has extensive administrative experience having appeared before all administrative hearing levels at the Industrial Commission of Ohio.
Natalie spent many years lecturing at legal seminars in workers’ compensation. She was one of the first attorneys to be certified as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation by the Ohio State Bar Association.
Natalie is originally from North Carolina but grew up in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.
