Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy

Registration is open for the 2018 Ohio Attorney General’s Law Enforcement Conference. Conference sessions will be held Oct. 25-26 in Columbus.

This unique, one-day course is designed to help law enforcement officers increase officer safety and employ appropriate tactics when interacting with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

This instructor-enhancement program is designed to help trainers focus on how to train, not just what to train. It challenges instructors to think differently about law enforcement training in an effort to improve officer performance in the field. 

Electronic data is all around us -- in our computers, phones, cars, and appliances. This course will help participants identify where electronic evidence may be found and teach students how to properly secure any evidence they find. 

If you’d like to add visual impact to your trainings, speeches, and other presentations, attend this course. Students will get hands-on practice with PowerPoint and learn how to play videos, send files, create animations, and use other features of PowerPoint.
